Preliminary findings
Acute infarct in the left middle cerebral artery (MCA) territory measuring approximately 1.4 cm in maximum dimension, demonstrating restricted diffusion on DWI with corresponding low ADC values. T2/FLAIR shows hyperintensity in the same region.
No haemorrhagic transformation on SWI. Mild surrounding vasogenic oedema. No significant midline shift. Ventricles and basal cisterns are preserved.
No obvious mass, abnormal enhancement, or other parenchymal lesion. Major vessels patent on MRA (separate report). Sinuses and mastoids clear.
